Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled PLC / Automation Engineer to design, program, maintain, and optimize PLC-based control systems in our cement processing and mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or similar).
- Maintain and upgrade PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems to ensure reliable plant operation.
- Prepare, update and test logic diagrams, HMI screens, and control strategies.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, process changes, and shutdowns.
- Troubleshoot automation, control system failures, and instrument issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems and industrial networks.
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting large-scale automation systems.
- Familiarity with cement plant processes and instrumentation (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or similar engineering discipline.
