About the Role

The Senior Accountant role is a critical position that ensures the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, playing a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Process transactions in the ERP system to meet all monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting deadlines.
  • Prepare financial management reports and support the delivery of an accurate financial close.
  • Uphold strong internal accounting controls and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain key financial databases and working papers.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors.
  • Record and analyze revenues and expenses accurately.
  • Keep all sub-ledger records, including A/R, A/P, inventory listings, and ageing reports, complete, accurate, and up to date.

Requirements

  • BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Foreign exchange understanding.
