About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automation Turn-key Industrial Engineer Salesperson or Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, with a strong focus on PLCs/ Automation and Robotics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling automation solutions to external customers at their premises, leveraging your existing client network and face-to-face sales experience. If you have a passion for automation and robotics, excellent communication skills, and a drive to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell PLCs/ Automation and Robotics products to external customers at their premises
- Utilize existing client networks to generate new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term sales growth
- Work closely with internal teams to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, with a focus on commission-based earnings
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Own car
- Matric / Grade 12
- N6, Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Design (advantage)
- 3-6 years working experience as a Sales Person or Sales Manager with experience selling PLCs/ Automation or Robotics Products
- Gained sales experience with PLCs / Sensors, control systems, instrumentation, or electrical automation or Robotics (or experience working on site with this equipment)
- Existing client network would be highly beneficial
