About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer Grade C to join our team in Johannesburg Central. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in keeping our community safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring entrances and conducting searches
- Utilizing radio communication to respond to alarms and emergencies
- Maintaining the Occurrence Book (OB) for all incidents and shift handovers
- Enforcing safety regulations and site-specific security rules
- Conducting physical patrols of premises, buildings, and perimeter fences
- Searching personnel, vehicles, and bags to prevent unauthorized access or removal of company property
Requirements
- PSIRA Registration: Must be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
- Training: Successful completion of Grade C training, which includes Legal Aspects 2
- Skills:

- Ability to work in high-risk environments
