About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Guide I Lodge Anchor Couple to join our team at a private game reserve based close to Philippolis. As a key member of our lodge management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the exceptional guest experience, managing various departments, and contributing to the overall success of our high-end lodge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lodge in all aspects, including staff supervision, training, and development
• Assist the marketing manager with social media content creation
• Host guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights during guided safaris
• Allocate airport transfers and assist guests around the lodge as needed
• Conduct stock control and stock takes to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Manage housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with the HOD
• Assist with events planning and execution
• Manage menu planning and cost control
• Provide exceptional guest relations and ensure the lodge maintains required aesthetic standards

Requirements

• Grade 12
• A formal qualification (advantageous)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a high-end lodge environment
• Valid RSA Driver’s License (advantageous)
