About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager Polymer is a critical role that requires an experienced sales professional to drive business growth and expansion in the polymer industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and expanding business at current clients, meeting monthly budgets in terms of value and volumes.
- Ensuring marketing intelligence is gathered, while following up on leads and referrals.
- Providing a technical service internally and externally, while maintaining and developing relationships with current customers.
- Participating in technical meetings with prospects and customers to sell solutions and not just products.
- Providing accurate and meaningful sales value and volume forecasts.
- Resolving debtors queries and/or complaints timeously.
- Maintaining all administrative duties, including action plans, customer visits, and associated reports.
Requirements
- A related tertiary qualification in the Commercial, Marketing or Technical field
- Previous experience within the polymer and/or paper industry
- Previous experience with chemical raw materials would be preferred
- Demonstrated proven track record of performance and results
- Astute with sound knowledge and practical experience in forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
