About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Candidate Attorney to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our legal support staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and legal assistance to attorneys and clients. If you have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court-related documentation
- Attend consultations with clients and counsel
- Assist with litigation and conveyancing matters where required
- Manage legal files and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with clients, courts, and other stakeholders
- Perform general administrative and legal support duties
- Ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met
Requirements
- Completed LLB degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
