About the Role

The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Chief Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our safety management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating high-level investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate high-level investigations
• Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act regulations
• Promote a culture of safety within the organization
• Maintain knowledge of ISO 45001 and 31001 standards
• Obtain and maintain mine vehicle license
• Valid Driver’s License (Code B)
• Medical Fitness Certificate

Requirements

• National Diploma in Safety Management or relevant Degree
• Experience coordinating and facilitating high-level investigations
• Ability to be legally appointed in terms of section 2.17.4 regulation of the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 31001 standards
