About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Sales Consultant – Cargo to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective customer engagement and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the assigned territory
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and issues
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through effective sales strategies and tactics
Requirements
- Matric (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the Cargo or related industries
- Proven background in customer service and territory sales management
- Solid understanding of the cargo sector, including transportation, handling, and storage of physical goods by sea, air, road, and rail
Qualifications
- Valid drivers licence is essential
