Job Description

Hilton, KZN Full-time | Office-based A well-established building company based in Hilton is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role will replace a previously outsourced QS function and will work closely with the internal Cost Estimator, ensuring accurate costing, measurement, and commercial oversight across projects. Key Responsibilities: -Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities -Cost analysis and project budgeting -Liaising with outsourced professionals where required -Assisting with cost control and project financial tracking -Supporting the estimating function with accurate commercial input Requirements: -Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying -Solid understanding of construction costing principles -Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy -Ability to work independently and take ownership of the QS function -Based in or willing to work full-time from the Hilton office This role may suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a stable, office-based position, including professionals looking to step away from site-heavy or high-pressure corporate environments.
