Job Description

EKM Exports is seeking a professional, well-organised, and proactive Receptionist with basic graphic design skills to support daily office operations to be based in Pretoria East. The successful candidate will be responsible for front-desk management, office administration, facilities coordination, and providing basic design support. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the front desk and welcome all visitors professionally. Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails. Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception and office environment. Ensure the office is cleaned to company standards daily. Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and ensure sufficient stock is available. Ensure groceries, refreshments, and stationery are fully stocked and reordered timeously. Coordinate and manage daily catering orders for the office. Receive and dispatch courier packages and deliveries. Maintain filing systems and assist with administrative documentation. Schedule meetings and manage boardroom bookings. Provide general administrative support to management when required. Assist with onboarding documentation and basic HR administrative tasks. Graphic Design Support Responsibilities: Assist with basic graphic design work for KUGA, EKM Exports, and Die Boskamp. Create simple social media posts, flyers, internal documents, and marketing materials. Edit images and prepare basic layouts using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar software. Ensure brand consistency across company materials. Support marketing teams with content preparation when required. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant. Professional appearance and strong communication skills. Strong organisational and multitasking ability. Basic knowledge of graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Suite or similar). Computer literacy (Microsoft Office). Ability to work independently and take initiative.
