About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fast Food Manager to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

Manage the restaurant in accordance with established policies and procedures
Maximize sales and profitability through effective labor deployment, asset utilization, and cost control
Maintain excellence in all duties and focus on exceeding customer expectations
Develop and train staff, provide positive reinforcement, and recognize superior performance
Monitor food, packaging, and labor costs to ensure alignment with targets
Manage restaurant resources, including labor, product, supplies, tills, and equipment
Ensure compliance with cash handling and in-restaurant banking procedures
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks to optimize supply levels
Prepare weekly labor schedules and ensure proper staffing and cost control
Recruit staff without compromising the company’s non-discriminatory policy
Provide comprehensive induction and training for new staff members
Develop staff and implement succession planning to ensure full management of the restaurant
Follow policies and procedures to minimize employee relations issues
Coordinate recruitment and termination payroll changes, and forward updates to HR
Hold monthly staff meetings to discuss various issues affecting the restaurant/team
Ensure staff are trained in fire procedures, health, safety, and food hygiene practices
Maintain accurate operating reports and ensure standards align with HACCP
Demonstrate commitment to Safety, Health, and Hygiene standards and statutory regulations
Carry out local store marketing activities as authorized by the Regional Operations Manager
Monitor competitor activity and coordinate in-store promotions
Monitor operating practices and take action on identified problems

Requirements

Grade 12 / NQF 4
3 years Fast Food/Restaurant Manager experience, preferably KFC or Pizza Hut
Micros /GAAP POS 3 years experience
Creditworthiness (ITC check) and no criminal record
Only SA citizens will be considered
