About the Role
The Inventory Controller is a critical role that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain our company’s inventory levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of stock handling, as well as maintaining accurate records in our inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of stock handling (Ordering, receiving, matching documentation, packing, loading, offloading, maintaining, picking, issuing, capturing)
- Accurate and efficient capturing and maintaining of the inventory management system
- Addressing of inventory discrepancies
- Control and issue special tools
- Performs physical cycle count of inventory
- Coordinating stock counts
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards
- Improving inventory management and procedures
- Inventory reconciliations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Storeman
- Contactable References
- Matric
- Computer literacy (intermediate Excel advantageous)
