About the Role

A leading poultry company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking an experienced Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer requirements, investigating claims and queries, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer requirements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Investigate claims and queries and formalise feedback to close off.
  • Daily inventory balancing of Key Customers.
  • High control of Inventory to ensure accurate reporting and feedback.
  • Participate and lead logistics related projects, including cost management.
  • Support and Liaise with operations team on order and supply Management.
  • Propose and investigate cost saving initiatives.
  • Prepare orders and assign responsibilities to teams on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that all logistics paperwork is prepared accurately by team and produced in a timely manner.
  • Ensure team books required transport with service providers on a daily basis.
  • Prepare daily reports to clients.
  • Prepare weekly timesheets for sign-off by department managers.
  • Stock controlling and rotation.
  • Accurate recording of Outsource Labour costs.
  • Prepare, organise and accurately report on Stock Counts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent.
  • 3 years experience in a similar role and environment.
