Job Description

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ bookkeeping experience, ideally in a large corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Sage Evolution and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare Financial Statements for management review.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and prepare forecasts.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for various projects.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior bookkeeping staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage the full creditors function and other related financial processes.
