About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Cape Town, supporting our retail operations with strategic process improvements and system enhancements. As a critical link between business units, IT suppliers, and external vendors, you will play a key role in translating strategic objectives into optimal business processes and system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, define, and translate user change requests into commercially viable technical solutions within the strategic framework.
- Act as the primary interface between business units and IT suppliers to manage expectations and project delivery.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineers to ensure system solutions (Pick & Pack) align with warehouse layouts and operational flows.
- Provide high-level support to internal users, managing incident resolution and liaising with developers to fix system issues.
- Coordinate and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and quality assurance for the Website, PIM, and Pick & Pack apps.
- Develop detailed system documentation and SOPs; conduct workshops to build a high-performing “Super User” culture.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or Business Analysis.
- Experience: 5 years as a Business Analyst, including 2 years in Retail, Finance, or Consulting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Visio.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of BABOK (Business Analysis) and PMBOK (Project Management).
