About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Junior Field Guide to join a premier wilderness destination in the breathtaking Cederberg Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the safety and well-being of our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Guided Experiences: Assist senior guides with daily guest activities and interpretive nature walks.
- Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service and lead talks on local flora, fauna, and geology.
- Safety & Prep: Ensure guest safety during outdoor activities and assist with vehicle/equipment maintenance.
- Conservation: Support environmental education and conservation awareness initiatives.
- Versatility: Assist the Front of House team when not out on guided activities.
Requirements
Relevant guiding qualification (or currently studying towards one).
Excellent communication, storytelling, and a strong guest-service mindset.
Valid Driver’s License, PrDP, and a valid First Aid certificate.
Physically fit, comfortable working outdoors, and a genuine passion for wildlife.
