Job Summary

Job Description: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles required, with hands-on service centre work (stripping, cleaning, testing, rebuilding vacuum pumps) Log and book in all pumps, inform line manager of deliveries, and maintain professional customer communication about servicing and repairs Travel to client sites for onsite servicing and repairs when needed Manage the service process from enquiry to repair, delivery, and payment, ensuring smooth coordination with the team Create job cards, quotes, and process invoices while following up on offers and order statuses Order necessary local products for service and prepare spares for delivery/collection Maintain service centre records, track monthly statistics, and update SharePoint documents daily Assist customers with inquiries, including sourcing parts and providing walk-in support Willingness to work overtime, learn new skills, and potentially travel locally or overseas for training Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a similar role Electrical and mechanical experience working on pumps and electrical motors Must be a proactive and energetic individual Strong ability to work within a team and independently Strong administrative skills Good planning and time keeping ability Qualification: Minimum Grade 12 or N6 and preferably a trade as Millwright or Fitter & Turner Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
