Job Duties and Responsibilities

Efficient “start to end” claims handling including data entry and quoting assessment.
Assessing and validating claim information, including reviewing documentation and conducting investigations to determine coverage and liability.
Engaging with Kandua Service Providers to collate the correct information to complete
Insurance Claims reports and submit for approval.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process.
Identifying and escalating potential fraudulent activities or discrepancies for further investigation.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines and procedures.
Communicating with policyholders, Insurance partners and Pros to manage a claim to completion.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of claims processes and customer experience through feedback and innovative solutions.
Provide friendly and outstanding customer service
Respond to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Work efficiently in a multilingual and multicultural team
Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance industry knowledge and professional skills.

Key Competencies

Knowledge of the function, process and systems of Insurance.
Excellent communication skills – Both written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment, handling more than one project (claim)at a time.
Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
Feel comfortable with a level of ambiguity and an unstructured environment,agile by nature and be comfortable with things changing quickly and often.

Able to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Skills / Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in claims handling, specifically in home insurance.
Knowledge of the South African insurance market, regulations, and industry trends.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide clear explanations.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
Proficiency in Google Suite (preferred, but not essential) and experience with claims management software.
A commitment to providing excellent customer service and upholding the companyvalues and mission.
Relevant insurance qualifications are highly desirable.
