Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client, a leading steel company in Johannesburg that specializes in container conversions, is looking for a committed and motivated Welder/Production Manager. This position entails planning project objectives, overseeing project execution, and efficiently managing resources.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage project resources effectively.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques.
  • Supervise the on-site team and oversee project progress.
  • Ensure project targets and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients regarding project updates.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manage administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a welder or in a similar position.
  • Qualification in Production Management.
  • Valid driver`s license.
  • At least 3 years of experience in welding or site supervision.
  • Familiarity with the steel industry.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in report writing.
  • Leadership skills in production management.
  • Commitment to high standards in execution.
