Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
- Experience in a similar role – preferably more than 5 years
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy are absolutely essential
- Highly responsible personality
- Proactive, Organised, Analytical
- Ability to supervise with confidence and not being afraid to speak up
- Working knowledge of Sage Accounting or similar
- Computer literate
DUTIES
- Extensive professional client liaison
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the admin office and the operations related to orders and invoicing
- Liaising with courier companies and understanding and controlling all exports
- Liaising with customers with respect to their orders
- Understand the flow of the operation to ensure smooth running for a customer order from start to finish
- Supervise the admin assistant and review her work
- Assist with preparing quotes and invoices
- Ensure orders are completed and sent out timeously and accurately
- Oversee the warehouse staff and control of orders from receipt to completion
- Answer incoming calls
- General and ad hoc office duties
