Job Summary
Key Performance Areas (including but not limited to): Experience engaging with landlords, from single property owners to listed landlords. Experience in reviewing leases and understanding of terms, conditions and clauses. Sourcing new store positions around the country through establishment of a network of landlords and property specialists. Negotiating with landlords of current and potential new properties. Experience managing teams, in person and remotely. Manage the shop fitting teams and installation of store fittings. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize. Procurement of supplies in the establishment of Retail Shop stores. Basic knowledge of relevant financial and company legislation. Good knowledge of business internal controls and systems. Good knowledge of corporate governance principles and policies. Good knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. Good understanding of core business principles. Understanding of the Retail environment is beneficial. Qualifications and Experience: Business or commerce related degree or diploma At least 5 years experience in Property and/or Lease Management Some experience or understanding of Retail Shop fitting processes. Understanding of property law. Key Competencies Strong negotiating skills Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Good management skills. Ability to problem solve. Good knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations Good interpersonal and communication skills High level of self-motivation and determination Well organized and structured Deadline Driven
