Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client, a leading mining company in Mpumalanga, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Stakeholder Relations Co-Ordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
  • Identify and assess key stakeholders and their interests, concerns, and expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders through various channels.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings, consultations, and events.
  • Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback and provide recommendations to the management team.
  • Manage stakeholder databases and maintain accurate records of interactions and engagements.
  • Monitor and report on stakeholder relations activities and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in stakeholder relations.

Requirements:

  • BTech / National Diploma in Development Studies / Political Science
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in stakeholder relations or a similar role, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local community dynamics and social issues in the mining industry is desirable.
