Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join their team at our mining operation in North West. The ideal candidate will have a background in mining operations management, with a strong understanding of plant maintenance, process optimization, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the plant operation, including production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control
- Provide leadership and direction to the plant team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track plant performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to optimize production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BEng/BTech Degree in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering
- 10 years` experience in metallurgical plants and 5 years` management/supervisory experience.
- Experience in PGM flotation and chrome recovery plant.
- Valid Drivers License
