Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a Vibrant person to join our Quality Assurance team on a temporary contract (3-months). Position is based in Centurion Mnandi on a commercial farm. This position is ideal for a Graduate or Junior QC.Qualifications & Experience1.Matric/ Grade 122.Relevant tertiary qualification in the food and safety field3.Computer literacy (word, excel, e-mail).4.Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).Skills and AbilitiesDaily Duties1.Quality control of packed product: Woolworths, PnP, Freshmark, Spar2.Evaluation of retention samples + reporting3.Packhouse hygiene checks4.Packhouse temperature checksWeekly Duties1.Water analysis – Chlorine (twice weekly)2.Verification checks: thermometers, cleaning solutions3.Printing & binding of all internal log books4.Entering job cards on the maintenance system5.Pest control support Monthly Duties1.Internal hygiene swabs – hands, product and equipment2.Internal audit3.Filling of First aid boxes + monthly report4.Admin support for food safety & first aid meetings 5.Internal training support
