Responsibilities:
Administer claims related to Corporate Assets All Risk Property Damage, Mining, and Business Interruption policies. Handle reinsurance claims, including treaty and facultative claims. Appoint and manage external resources such as loss adjusters, attorneys, and other professionals to assist with claims processing. Communicate and provide updates to co-insurers, brokers, reinsurance brokers, and other stakeholders regarding claim progress and outcomes. Prepare and deliver accurate and timely claims reports to management and relevant stakeholders. Perform additional duties as required to support the claims department and broader organizational goals. Qualifications Matric qualification (essential). Tertiary qualification in law and/or accounting (preferred). FAIS Certificate required. IISA Certificate. Skills 3 years experience in corporate/commercial property and business interruption claims management. Strong understanding of corporate/commercial property damage and business interruption policy wordings. Knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance claims management. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (specific emphasis on Excel data analysis and reporting abilities) Basic understanding of accounting principles. Must be fully FAIS compliant.
