Job Summary
Job Description: Our client is a leading provider of digital forensics, cyber and information security, and incident response services. They are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology and security.
Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues. – Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, and peripherals. – Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner. – Administer and support Office 365 applications and services. – Conduct regular maintenance and updates of operating systems and software. – Assist with mobile device management and support. – Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as necessary. – Create and maintain documentation and reports for IT processes and incidents. – Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of IT systems. – Provide support desk services, including phone, email, and in-person support. Preferred Qualifications: – CompTIA Network, A, Security, or equivalent certifications. – Additional networking and/or computer certifications are a plus. – Proficiency in computer hardware and operating systems. – Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) technologies. – Experience with digital forensics, cybersecurity, or incident response is beneficial. Skills and Attributes: – Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. – Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Patience and empathy when dealing with end-users. – Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. – Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT environments. – Punctual and reliable with a professional and neat appearance. – Must have a valid driver`s license.
