Location: Nasrec, Gauteng
Job Description:
Overall maintenance and improvement of the quality of products, services, and processes
Requirements:
Please note this is a fixed term contract
- Degree/Diploma in Food Technology/Biotech/Analytical
- 2+ years of relevant experience within the FMCG/manufacturing industry
- Proven ability to manage, maintain and deliver against Customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality System as per FSSC 22000
- Identify areas that need to be improved and work towards enhancing the overall quality and food safety, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product and process quality and food safety.
- Perform regular GMP AND quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze test results and produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommending actionable improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes.
- Coordinate in-house training on company policies, procedures and basic GMP’s
- Participate in customer complaints investigations
- Raising nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis and investigation on non-conformances and ensure close out thereof.
- CCP/ OPRPs Monitoring Verifications.
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality and other departments.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor, maintain and practice safety.
