Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Devise and execute effective Marketing strategies for carbon products to maximize profitability and market share
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research in the South African territories to identify market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities
- Territorial Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of the South African carbon market, including regulatory, economic, and industry factors influencing trading activities
- Client Identification and Sourcing: Identify and source potential corporate clients within the South African market, establishing new business relationships and expanding the client base
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed assigned targets for coal sales volume, revenue, and profitability in alignment with organizational goals
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong connections and relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to enhance business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships
- Networking: Engage in networking events, industry conferences, and forums to expand professional connections, stay updated with industry trends, and leverage networking opportunities for business growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in coal Marketing, preferably in the South African market
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent understanding of coal market dynamics, regulations, and trading practices
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented individual
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets
