Job Summary
Responsibilities:
The duties include management of the day-to-day operations of the Central Reservations Department. They will co-ordinate and supervise all staff that are employee in the Central Reservations Department. The position communicates with all departments in order to ensure efficient and reliable service. It is required that this individual will oversee the administration of all rates and system requirements on the Central Reservations System as well as the PMS systems. Preparing reports on a daily weekly, monthly as well as when required basis. The overall management of inventory of the nine properties on the Central Reservations System is required. Through sound knowledge of Opera, Apex and eRES /Nebula, this individual oversees the yielding and management of the online travel agent systems and API links with preferred partners. Regular participation in the management meetings is required.
Requirements:
Microsoft Office, especially with Good Excel Skills eRES / Nebula, Opera & Apex 5 to 8 years experience managing a call centre and reservations department for multiple properties Must have a good command of the English language with good Writing skills Solid interpersonal skills Valid RSA ID
