Job Summary

Requirements:
Matric / National Diploma or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 to 10 years experience working in a Conveyancing environment. Experienced Paralegal with both transfer and bonds experience with all major banks. Computer literate (MS Office Suite) including Excel. Ability to work independently. Excellent command of English. Meticulous and able to pay attention to detail. Ability to prioritise duties and remain claim under pressure. Strong multitasking ability. Typing speed of 45 wpm, strong pref. In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential. Duties and Responsibilities include: Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication and liaising with relevant parties. Liaise with various banks. Handle bonds and transfers with precision and efficiency. Facilitate and finalise bond cancellations Assist with property transfers timeous. Achieve deadlines and ensure timeous completion of all conveyancing tasks. Maintain accurate records and files. Skills (Know-How job related skills required to complete activities): Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills. Knowledge of FICA. Competencies: Work effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders. Speed and accuracy. Honesty, reliability, and punctuality. Excellent communication skills: written and verbal. Ability to take initiative. Be able to work under pressure, and occasionally after hours. Well organised and conscientious. Effective time management. Organisational skills.
