Rewards & Remuneration Specialist Sandton
Our FMCG client is looking for a Rewards & remuneration Specialist with 5+ years experience. The Rewards & Remuneration Specialist will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent within the FMCG sector. This position requires a strategic thinker who understands market trends, compensation structures, and the unique challenges faced by the FMCG industry.

Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Masters degree
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a rewards and remuneration role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, benchmarking, and labor market trends.
- Proficient in using HRMS and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Key
Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design and implement competitive compensation structures that align with the companys strategic objectives and support talent acquisition and retention.
- Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure compensation packages are competitive within the FMCG market.
Job Analysis and Evaluation:
- Perform job evaluations and market salary analysis to ensure equitable pay grades and structures across the organization.
- Create and maintain job descriptions and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Incentive Programs:
- Design, implement, and manage short-term and long-term incentive programs, including bonuses, profit-sharing, and stock options tailored to the needs of the FMCG workforce.
- Monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of incentive programs, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Benefits Management:
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives that meet employee needs and company budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, government regulations, and changes in the landscape of employee benefits.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse compensation-related data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare regular reports on compensation expenditures, benchmarking results, and employee satisfaction surveys.
Employee Communication:
- Develop and deliver training and communication materials regarding compensation packages, benefits, and rewards programs to employees and management.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits programs.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure that compensation and benefit programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes and compliance reviews.
Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct regular evaluations of the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits programs and identify opportunities for enhancements.
- Stay informed of market trends and best practices in compensation and benefits, particularly within the FMCG sector.
