About the Role
Our client in the citrus / agricultural industry based in Addo is seeking an experienced Line Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and execution of the packing of citrus on a production line, ensuring alignment with specification and production costs and goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the packing of citrus on a production line
- Manage people and other resources to meet hourly and daily production targets
- Identify areas for improvement and address them
- Ensure adherence to local and international food safety standards and requirements
- Record all relevant production and technical data
- Present daily production progress and planning reports at Management meetings
Requirements
- Passed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Formal qualification in Production / Operations management will be an advantage
- Minimum of five (5) years experience managing a large team in a production environment
- Proven Computer literacy MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of BRC and QHSE system will be of advantage
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Production / Operations management
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
