About the Role
Executive Placings is seeking an experienced Fleet & Workshop Manager to join our luxury wildlife reserve in Africa. As a hands-on leader with a passion for excellence, systems, and guest experience, you will oversee full fleet management, ensuring that all vehicles, quads, e-bikes, and generators are well-maintained, fuel-efficient, and safe. With 5+ years of mechanical workshop experience and a strong administration background, you will be responsible for managing budgets, stock controls, parts ordering, and month-end admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, service scheduling, and quality control for all repairs, servicing, and outsourced work
- Minimize downtime and improve fleet performance & safety
- Maintain fuel records, service logs & maintenance procedures
- Keep workshops organized, clean, safe & compliant
- Manage budgets, stock controls, parts ordering & month-end admin tasks
- Lead, train, develop & discipline workshop staff
- Uphold health & safety, legal compliance & world-class standards
- Collaborate with lodge management, ranger trainers & operations
Requirements
- Mechanical trade qualification (completed)
- 5+ years in a mechanical workshop
- Strong administration skills (Excel/Word)
- Valid drivers license & passport
- Excellent English communication

- Completed Mechanical Trade Qualification
