Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee all operational departments, ensuring the highest service standards are met consistently.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local government regulations.
- Team Management
- Recruit, mentor, and manage department heads, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align goals, share updates, and encourage collaboration.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Financial Performance
- Develop and manage budgets to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Guest Experience
- Maintain a guest-centric culture, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail.
- Monitor guest feedback, addressing concerns promptly and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Develop unique experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and elevate the property’s reputation.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison with property owners and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their vision and expectations.
- Build strong relationships with local partners, suppliers, and community organizations.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance, adjusting strategies to remain competitive.
- Drive innovation in services, technology, and processes to enhance operational and guest experience outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
- The ability to speak French will secure.
- Proven track record as a Hotel General Manager, with recent experience in Africa.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in hospitality, with at least 5 years in a General Manager role.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop budgets, analyze financial statements, and drive revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multicultural teams in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Extensive knowledge of luxury hotel operations and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- This position is open to Mauritius citizens or those with the legal right to work in Mauritius.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Highly organized, with a strategic mindset and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
