Job Summary
Spectacular 5*lodge in Namibia is recruiting a General Manager with experience running a 5* property in a remote area independently. This is a live-in position. Experience required:Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staffPrevious experience in running a five-star operation as Lodge Manager of GMA minimum of three years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positionsSpecialized training in managing human resources, is preferredExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentMust include knowledge of Excel and skills in Access.Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skillsDuties include:Overall responsibility for the effective management and running of the LodgeOverall Responsibility for budget creation and managementCAPEX structuring and planning responsibilityCreate annual and monthly training plan Create and maintain skills development planOverall responsibility for all human resources in the lodgeWork with the Executive Chef to ensure menu and food are aligned to lodge quality standards Structure and equipment Hosting all Agents and Media and VIP GroupsTo apply please send updated CV and references to Executive Placings
