Africa: QS Commercial Manager (expat, Zambia) posted by Network International

• Lead end-to-end commercial management of projects.
• Oversee and manage the QS team and related resources.
• Handle bidding, tendering, and preparation of bills of quantities.
• Manage subcontractor selection to ensure value and quality.
• Maintain and update CCS (Candy) master programs.
• Administer contracts under FIDIC and JBCC
• Prepare and manage claims and entitlements.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, and budget control documents.
• Collaborate with finance on budgeting and cost allocations.
• Drive value engineering and resource optimization.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (Hons) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial/QS experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and JBCC
• Skilled in CCS (Candy) and MS Office (Excel, Project, Word).
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
