About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Host/Duty Manager to join our team at a 5-star boutique hotel in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have previous hosting experience in both Front Office and F&B in a similar luxury hotel setting. With a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel’s front desk and food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including guest check-in, check-out, and other administrative tasks.
- Oversee the F&B department, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a similar hosting role, preferably in a 5-star boutique hotel.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Hospitality diploma or equivalent.
Salary & Benefits
R10K – R12K per annum, depending on experience.
