About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Host/Duty Manager to join our team at a 5 Star 10 Room Boutique Hotel in Ballito. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth through effective front office and F&B management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and reception area to provide excellent customer service
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets
- Ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Coordinate room assignments, housekeeping, and maintenance requests
- Monitor and control hotel expenses, inventory, and cash handling
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
Requirements
- Previous hosting experience in both Front Office and F&B in a 5 Star boutique Hotel
- Hospitality diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position as Host/Duty Manager
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in hospitality or related field (e.g. Bachelor’s degree)
