• Grade 12
• Certification: Red Seal – Auto Electrician
• Experience: 3-5 years in an underground mining environment, with specific experience in auto electrical systems on Sandvik, GHH, AARD machines
• Physical Fitness: Must be fit to obtain a medical certificate of fitness and declared fit to work on a mine.

Skills:

• Competent in auto electrical systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, ensuring safe and effective operations in a mining environment.
• Competent B certificate – Underground Hard rock operations
• Medical Certificate of Fitness to work Underground
• Good communication skills
• Clean Criminal record

Responsibilities:

• Participate in maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems of mining machinery, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and provide support when needed.
• Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
• A teamwork mentality to achieve results
• Effective listener with well-developed interpersonal skills
