Job Summary
- The successful incumbent will have at least five (5) or more years’ experience as a branch administrator.
- Experience within electrical or construction field is an added advantage.
- Experience with health and safety systems is an added advantage.
Formal education and qualifications as a minimum requirement
- Matric
- Qualification in construction or relevant field
- Must be computer literate and proficient on Microsoft software
- Own transport is mandatory

Responsibilities:
- Stock control
- Transparent, clear, professional and courteous/amicable communication ensuring that deliverables fall withing the scope of work and the contract value
- Control issuing of materials and equipment to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Supply the accounts department on a daily basis with information such as stock levels, invoicing, purchasing orders, etc.
- Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in neat and accurate manner. This includes monthly job lists, providing feedback to senior management regarding jobs/clients.
- Once accepting a new contract, ensure HHK has a signed purchase order, check price, material costing, timing, drawings, etc and programme contract procedure with client, site etc. Ensure all additional expenses, not previously known to the estimators, are covered by variation orders and paid by the client.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements on site regarding health, safety and environmental policies, manuals and procedures
- Ensure site instructions are received for any extra work required on site prior to work being carried out.
- Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by the drawing office, if not on record, alternatively discuss BOQ with estimator to ensure accurate costing and planning of materials
- Complete invoice as soon as job has been completed.
- Report all incidents which have, or could result, in personal injury or environmental damage, as per site specific regulations
- Ensure staff have been issued with correct safety equipment before departing for site and that it is worn on site, including all other health and safety requirements as well as preparation of Health and Safety Files
- Costing of jobs to be done daily
- Stock control – stock checks and strict control of materials, checking and control of delivered materials, supervise the receiving, loading and off-loading of the teams` vehicle stock.
- Effective management of the branch.
- Stock control Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in a neat and accurate manner.
