Hire Resolve’s client’s company, a reputable construction company based in Bellville, Cape Town, is seeking a Finance Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
– Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
– Processing invoices and reconciling payments
– Handling payroll processing and related tasks
– Maintaining financial records and assisting with month-end closing procedures
– Conducting financial analysis and reporting as needed
– Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Providing support to the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
– Diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or related field
– Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the construction industry
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
– Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Prior experience with payroll processing is an advantage
