HAIR & BASIN OPERATOR
BELLVILLE – CPT Northern Suburbs (Western-Cape), ZA
START: A.S.A.P
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday Saturday
- 09:00 – 18:00 (including lunch)
- 1x Long Weekend off per month (Sat, Sun & Mon)
- Days off alternate Sunday & Monday/Sunday & Tuesday
REPORTS TO: Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Seasonal / Fixed Term contract
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R6,000 per month
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Permitted for employment in South Africa
- At least 1 year working in a hair salon or spa as a basin operator
- Excellent time management
- Able to build good rapport with clients – bubbly and welcoming
- Focused on maintaining a clean, hygienic work area (basin, mirror stations, stock room, laundry)
SKILLS:
- Shampoo duties
- Color application assistance
- Blow dries
- Any assistance required by senior stylists
- Coffee / Tea and refreshments prep
- Laundry of towels
- Housekeeping (sweeping and cleaning of hair stations & basin)
- Assist with stock or any other ad-hoc hair salon duties as required by management
