About the Role
Our client in retail imports and manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join their team in Goodwood, Epping, Cape Town. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Manage HR databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, letters of employment, and termination notices.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and ensure employees are informed about their benefits.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a coordinator or administrative capacity.
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
