About the Role

The Roving Stock Controller plays a vital role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring efficient operations across multiple locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for visiting various sites to conduct regular stock counts, monitor inventory levels, and implement effective stock control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular stock counts at multiple locations
Monitor stock levels and organize restocking when necessary
Ensure that stock is stored and handled correctly to prevent damage or loss
Investigate any discrepancies or shortages in stock and report findings to the Stock Control Manager
Implement and maintain stock control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Communicate with store managers and staff to address any stock-related issues or concerns
Assist with the implementation of new stock management systems or technologies
Provide training and support to store staff on stock control procedures
Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies for management review
Assist with other duties as required by the Stock Control Manager

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in stock control or inventory management preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required
