Our client, a well-known independent school in Durban, needs a FET AFRIKAANS FAL teacher from January 2026. The ideal applicant will have experience teaching this subject at Grade 12 level.High school Afrikaans FAL teachers who have not yet taught Grade 12 (but are professionally ready to do so) and who have a successful track record delivering engaging and effective Afrikaans FAL lessons will also be considered.The successful applicant will -have a passion for the language-develop their career in a school that values creativity and excellence and provides a nurturing and supportive environment for its staff and learners-enjoy involvement in the schools extramural programmes-be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (e.g. BA PGCE or equivalent) -SACE registration and police etc clearance-The ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans at a professional level-An interest in girls education -A concise (max. 4 pages) but comprehensive CV that includes all pertinent information HOW TO APPLY:Write a factual covering email summarising the experience and qualifications that make you suitable for the post described.
