About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Endpoint Technician to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all endpoint devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on endpoint devices.
- Collaborate with end-users to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and security patches.
- Monitor and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Document and track all technical issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Assist with endpoint device procurement, deployment, and retirement processes.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices for endpoint device management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in endpoint device management and technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and mobile operating systems.
- Experience with endpoint security solutions, hardware troubleshooting, and software installations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
