About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join our team in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site operations, including machine maintenance and repair
- Manage teams of operatives to achieve production targets
- Monitor and control inventory levels using weighbridge systems
- Identify and report machinery faults and perform basic mechanical repairs
- Reconcile diesel fuel usage and manage fuel supply
- Maintain accurate records using operational reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (SHEQ) in the workplace
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Logistics, Warehousing or Production Management (advantageous)
- 2 Years supervisory experience in a machine operating, warehousing, logistics or production environment
- 5 Years operational experience within machine operations, warehousing and/or logistics
- Experience working in a plant, milling, or bulk material handling environment (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Own reliable transport (advantageous due to location)
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook essential)
