Minimum Requirements

• Qualification: LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a legal environment (post-graduate or as a candidate attorney)
• Certification: Completed Trial Advocacy training
• Drivers Licence: Valid South African drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
• Technical Skills: Strong legal drafting, research, and case management skills
• Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to client service excellence

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and document drafting
• Attend court proceedings, consultations, and mediations
• Manage client correspondence and maintain case files
• Draft pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions
• Participate in trial preparation and advocacy
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal procedures
• Provide accurate and timely updates on case progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for clients

Renumeration:

R15 000 – R20 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience
