Job Description
Are you a motivated and ambitious Admitted Attorney looking to advance your legal career in a dynamic and supportive environment? Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a legal environment (post-graduate or as a candidate attorney)
- Certification: Completed Trial Advocacy training
- Drivers Licence: Valid South African drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Technical Skills: Strong legal drafting, research, and case management skills
- Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to client service excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and document drafting
- Attend court proceedings, consultations, and mediations
- Manage client correspondence and maintain case files
- Draft pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions
- Participate in trial preparation and advocacy
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal procedures
- Provide accurate and timely updates on case progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
Renumeration:
R15 000 – R20 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience
