Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Bloemfontein to join their growing team. As a key member of their finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for their clients.

• Matric
• 3 – 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper (handling financial records up to trial balance)
• Fluent in Afrikaans
• Basic knowledge of IT related concepts (understanding of what is a hard drive), to assist with stock management systems
• Computer literate
• Proficiency in Xero Accounting, will be an advantage
• Bookkeeping up to trial balance

• Excellent organizational abilities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Accuracy

Duties and responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Full bookkeeping function for the company
• Manage debtors, creditors, stock, bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, general ledger and trial balance
• VAT submissions and compliance
• Handle bookkeeping for company and possible other associated companies, depending on the candidate`s skills set
• Assist with general administrative responsibilities within the company

Remuneration:

• R 10 000 – R 17 000 Cost To Company – depending on skills and experience
• 30 calendar days of leave per year
